Part-time Financial Controller wanted in St Albans
About the role:
We are looking for a detailed-orientated and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part-Time Finance People to support our clients in St Albans. We provide tailored financial support for SMEs with our clients specifically requiring an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller who can lead the finance function and provide clearer visibility around the financials on a part time basis.
About You:
You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
preparation of management accounts/reports
balance sheet reconciliations
cashflow and profit forecasting
experience and working knowledge of Xero ( ideally exposure with Sage50, QuickBooks as well)
experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
be commercially experienced
year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
you must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
Rate of pay: £35 per hour
Location: - 2/3 days p/week
